So, technically speaking, Charlotte has been a big sister for about 2.5years. That being said, there is quite a difference between being something and being good at that same thing. Just watch me play sports or tackle a home repair and you'll know what I mean. Anyway, Charlotte really seems to be stepping into her role as big sister these past few weeks. Especially in terms of how she is interacting with Arden. The other day, I walked into Arden's room to find Charlotte sitting in the crib with Arden having brought several stuffed animals in win her. “what are you guys doing?” I asked her, feeling genuinely curious to find out her answer. “having A puppet show.” was the reply I got. And I'm not sure there could have been a better one.
It has become charlottes routine to climb into the crib with Arden after she wakes herself up and get stressed. They giggle, make faces at each other, laugh a little bit, stare at the mobile, and wait for the rest of the family to get themselves going. And it is pretty amazing to watch the friendship developing.
