Same genes. Different people.

Chocolate chips are a staple in the desert department at our house. They pretty much go with everything – especially fruit. We like the semi-sweet president's choice bulk size bag. No dairy in them. And, supposedly, 15% of your daily iron in a tablespoon. Or maybe two tablespoons…

Anyway, it never fails that when we get them out at the end of dinner Charlotte saves hers until her fruit is gone and ruby eats them first. I have to wonder if ruby will ever reach that point of delayed gratification. I suspect that the two of us hold a common belief about chocolate chips though: there's no point in waiting.
