ruby turns 3 in a few days. she is super excited. she has been telling anyone who will listen that she is having 2 parties. one at the park and one at the cottage.
the one at the park was yesterday. and it was awesome! a few friends from the nieghbourhood, a wadding pool, cream cheese and cucumber sandwiches. we had a great time – and thankfully the trees provided us with enough cover to enjoy our picnic in the rain. we were almost camping. the best part by far was when we made the decision to start the picnic with the chocolate cupcakes. we could tell the weather was turning and we wanted to make sure that she had the chance to blow out her birthday candle. we had a blast.
