Ruby turned 3 and a half back at the start of February. A few years back, we picked up a tradition from some friends of ours – the celebration of the half birthday. Its an awesome tradition. You get to decide what’s for dinner, you get a cake (or in this case, you get the other half of the cake that your mom made for your actual birthday and your dad saved in the freezer for 6 months and it still tastes amazing) and you get to invite a guest. Ruby didn’t even think twice: Aunt Cate and Uncle Boots!
