Charlotte is a reluctant reader and not very motivated to get better. She's moved leaps and bounds this year at school – especially considering she has made the transition from French immersion – but she hasn't really caught the bug yet. Tonight she offered to read to the little sisters while they were in the tub. To be honest, I'm not convinced the little sisters were paying attention. And, the book was a rhyming book so ruby was constantly interrupting with the rhyming words that she was anticipating would end each sentence. You can imagine how this went over with Charlotte. Regardless – it saved me having to accept a never ending supply of bath water tea in mini tea cups and make orders at the bath cafe. It was a nice moment.
