The reading bug has got a hold of ruby. In a big way too. She is currently reading in most of her spare moments and she appears to be willing to read all kinds of stuff. We could t be happier. Except for the bedtime arguments. She would rather read than go to sleep. And I find that an endearing attitude. Except for the part where she’s a total monster in the morning.
This week, I instituted a new family policy: you can read until the light runs out. As in: you can enjoy whatever light is coming in your bedroom window for as long as you can and when it’s gone it’s gone. Ruby is taking full advantage of the new rules.
