Ruby took a strong interest in canoeing at the end of the summer. I couldn't have been happier to be out there with her. This picture is from early September 2016. I remember how warm it was. I remember we saw some big dock spiders along the cliffs at in the bay we paddled. I remember we had an excellent time following a great blue heron. No pictures of any of that stuff. Our smiles tell the story though.
