This is us watching Elf. Is there a funnier Christmas movie? We had a pretty great laugh together.
Speaking of together today was the last day of school which means from this point forward the five of us are going to spend a lot more time together.
It occurs to me that this will involve a steep learning curve as
We navigate full days with one another- to be certain this is not a part of our daily routine and it is going to take some getting used to!
I think we will be OK. It’ll take some work for us to all learn how to march the to the beat of the same drum and I know we can do it. Take today for example: the kids came home from school and actually started playing with one another on their own without me asking them to. Almost as though they know they should get used to relying on one another for companionship on a more regular basis. I think I was flattered that they decided to set up shop right behind where I was trying to make dinner. It certainly wasn’t convenient… But it was nice that they chose to be close to me when They had the whole house at their disposal.
