My math interview with Allan by Charlotte

At a place that we were staying at I had a chance to interview the manager, Allan. I interviewed him on math so now I am going to tell you some of the answers he gave me.

Allan said that he uses a pen and paper to help him with math and he double checks his math with a calculator. When he was a kid his mom and his teacher helped him a lot with math he says, he also says that he learned a lot from his mom when he was a kid. Allan says that he uses math everyday 4-5 times mostly when he is checking people in and out of the hotel. “I loved math when i was a kid” says Allan “and I still do.” When I asked him who’s the best mathematician you know he said Tina, one of the other workers. She is a good mathematician because she always double checks her work. Allan says “Being good at math is always double checking your work” says Allan.

Allan believes that you don’t have to be born being good at math. Math is a skill that you can learn. Some people are born with the ability to be good at math and others need to work a little harder to become good at math.

I would like to thank Allan at Eco Sea Dive in Koh Rong Saloem for giving up some of his time to let me interview him about math. Arkoun Allan!!

    1. Good article Charlotte!!

As you know, I also think Math is important and that you can get good at it by practicing. Checking hour work is good too.

I wish I could sit like you and Allan! I need to go to yoga more often.

Are you practising your math by helping your mom and dad buy things? (Paul is now writing this)
