Home safe

We have arrived back in Burlington.

Over the past few days, the sadness I have felt about our trip coming to an end and the jitters I have felt about going back to work have caused me to stray from the routine of writing. I know that the hard part of the writing now lies before me: mining the experience for its truly meaningful and valuable insights. And I know that if I am going to realize the value of the experience the. I have to commit to the writing.

Today, after traveling 10,854km without a single automobile complication.

I arrived home to find an electric car with a dead battery and a mouse nest under the hood.

So, as with most of the experiences on this recently completed adventure, tonight I feel gratitude that the automobile headaches were contained to our driveway!
