Cambodian cooking class

Amazing cooking class today at the Sojourn hotel in rural Siem Reap. 

Amok snake fish curry:

Lemon grass, turmeric, Amok leaves, lime leaf, shrimp paste, shallot, garlic, salt, snake fish, coconut milk, water, stock, lots of chopping!




Palm sugar dumplings:

Rice flour, gluten, crystallized palm sugar, boiling water:


Green mango salad:

Green mango, sliced carrots, sliced tomatos, cilantro, sweet basil, cooked chicken, roasted peanuts, lime, liquid cane sugar, lots of chopping. 



Food + beer + new friend (Nadine traveling from QC, Canada) = amazing lunch!
