Today we went to the circus in Hanoi. At the circus, there was an elephant performing. At first I felt happy when I saw the elephant, but then I started to feel a little sad for the elephant. Then I felt really really sad for the elephant and all the hard tricks she had to do. Her trainer kept poking her trying to make her do the trick. Poor elephant. How would you like to pick people up with your trunk and then have to spin around on a stool? Oh yeah she had to pick up people by with her trunk. I don’t mean the girl was doing the tricks, I mean the elephant. The elephants at elephant camp were very well kept. I’m proud of elephant camp. I was kind of wanting to call the people at elephant camp to pick up that elephant and bring her to the proper place like Elephant camp.
At the circus, the elephant wore a costume. At elephant camp, elephants never wear costumes. I don’t think Elephants should have to wear costumes. First😄. Then😕. After😥.

In Canada you will not see an elephant in a circus any more. They used to have them
But then decided not to. The elephants that used to be at the Tironto zoo are gone too. They went to an elephant camp in California where they have a lot more space and other elephants to be with

Ruby,if you hadn’t gone to the elephant camp you would not have felt that way about the elephant in the circus. You were so lucky to have the opportunity to see elephants in the wild, not in captivity to be the entertainment for humans.There is nothing more beautiful than seeing animals in the wild, in their natural habitat. It is wrong that wild animals .. elephants 🐘 lions 🦁 and tigers 🐯 are made to do tricks for humans ‘ they are meant to be in the jungle with their tribes ! Not very many see the difference .. had Dad not had the GREAT idea of going to an elephant camp in the wild would you realize how wrong it is to make them do tricks !!
