Goodbye Thailand by Hil

It’s been an awesome 2 weeks here! The pictures say it all!

We say goodbye to Uncle Boots and Aunt Cate tonight. I’m anticipating an emotional hangover from the 3gingersnaps (and the parents too). We are so grateful they made the trip – such an amazing time together!!

Boots and Char were reading buddies.

The time went too fast…but we’ll always have the memories! Love you guys!

  1. I can feel the tugs on all the heart strings from here in Toronto.
Drew, you pegged it when you referenced our many trips through the Rockies with family during our time living in Edmonton.
    Cherish the memories.
    Love to all!

  2. Hi FIVE gingersnaps. Meant to tell you all that you guys are looking great. I can see from your photos why Thailand is tough to leave….it seems like paradise!
Drew, on to new balconies in other countries!?! Hil, make sure to try a true Singapore sling in the place where it all started….or did it? My research question to the family is this, without google or Wikipedia, give me the historical background on the Singapore sling. There must be a bartender there with a story to tell. And can you still be caned in Singapore for what westerners would consider a minor offence?
Teacher Turnbull has given you all one week to get some answers WITHOUT using assistive technology (don’t you miss eduspeak Drew?)
