    1. If you are planning on making it the same way they made it at the Raffles Hotel, then it is way too early at 9am for a Singapore Sling. Those things were nearly flammable.

  1. An A plus to all students involved! Assignment was handed in early, and I love your choice of medium. The photo essay is really avant garde currently. I really felt engaged in the subject because of the expressions on Drew’s face.
To celebrate your success on this assignments, 10 slings like the old Dutchman….which may leave you feeling crippled and in a literal sling.
    Kudos ‘snaps!

  2. I trust the Ginger Snaps were restricted to Shirley Temples.

Maybe you could morph the Trip into a review of local drinks?

  3. I have smiled while reading every post, but this one made me laugh out loud! I am so jealous of your incredible adventures and can’t wait to read your next post so I can live vicariously through your travels. Keep having fun and learning something new every day:)

  4. Still laughing from this post ‘snaps! Your expressions say so much. And I read this at a crucial time today. At school today, I had three 15 year old boys cry for very different reasons?! There is no full moon, but maybe they were like the famous Dutchman who knocked back 10 slings in one sitting? Regardless, your post today was just what this teacher needed to keep me from crying……okay, maybe this teacher could have used some gin, cherry brandy…….

  5. I’m sourcing the ingredients for the the Sling…I see a cocktail party in our future! As an aside, last night’s bookclub had a Russian theme which included some excellent cocktails including a Moscow Mule & a Black Russian.
