We’ve been away from wifi (and electricity) for the past week so have some older posts coming in the next few days. Here is one from Paris:
On Friday May 26th we celebrated my parent’s 50th Wedding Anniversary! Leading up to the day, my dad kept joking “we’re not there yet” whenever we talked about the date – but the day did arrive and we had a lovely celebration. A chef came to the house and cooked us a lovely French meal. The girls spoiled YaYa and Pappy with cards, a poem and a song (complete with ukulele accompaniment), and we read out well wishes from friends and family from all over the world. It was truly lovely to celebrate this marriage together as a family. Mom & Dad, you are our role models in life – here’s to 50 more!

Happy Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Smith (um, er, I mean Pat and Erica)! What a wonderful way to celebrate your amazing milestone. Here’s to many more!
