3 Ginger Snaps

This is a picture of Ruhy and Charlotte watching the Manchester benefit concert taking place tonight in Manchester in benefit of the victims of bombing that took place at the Arriana Grande concert. 

We have enjoyed a glorious 2 days with the Cryer family in West Sussex, England. On our way here, we discussed with our kids the liklyhood that they would see a visible and strong police presence throught the UK due to the Manchester bombing. While we have become somewhat accustomed to an increased security presence throughout our travels, we figured that there would be an intensification of security forces beyond normal. And there was. 

Last night there was another attack in London. Mercifully we were far from it and we are safe. 

When we embarked on this trip, we knew that we would encounter many things that would be difficult to explain to our kids. Add terror to the list.

We are feeling fortunate that we have this opportunity to try and make sense of this with another family.
