If you had told me 19 years ago that 19 years was enough time for 3 kids, 2 chased dreams, 5 career reboots, 1 masters degree, 4 homes, 3 foster dogs, shared opportunities to be the stay-at-home parent, a shameful number of double features at the movies, circumnavigating the globe, a great art collection, east and west coast road trips, family dinners that just keep getting better, and that trip out to the end of the pier, I wouldn’t have had any idea what you were talking about. What freshly minted 26 year old has any knowledge of how much adventure/struggle/forgiveness/acceptance/grace/care/friendship/laughter/love can fit into the space of 19 years?!? Turns out that 19 years is pretty much the perfect amount of time to make all of that happen.
